Sugar Baby Porkchops


  • 12” thick pork chops 4-6
  • Bread crumbs 2 cups
  • Brown sugar 12 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Dry Italian Seasoning 2 Tbsp.
  • Butter or Olive Oil to cover the bottom of a cast iron pan or saute pan
  • Apple wedges


  • Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Cover each pork chop in the dry mixture.
  • Put butter or oil in the frying pan, place pork chops into warm butter or oil allowing it to come up to temperature with the meat in it (this will lock the moisture in).
  • Fry each side of the pork chops until golden brown
  • Place in a baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees.
  • While pork chops are baking place apple pieces into remaining oil from pork chops and fry until tender.
  • Serve on top or to the side of the pork chops
